A genius, reclusive mathematician discovers a formula that gives him the superhuman ability to influence probability — to create luck — and to alter events or make things happen that would  otherwise never happen. As he gets increasingly better at it, he begins using his new-found superpowers for political purposes and in turn becomes the most wanted man in human history.
